Our classes run in blocks reguarly throughout the year, normally in tandem with the school holidays. Our next block starts in the New Year. Our waiting list is always open so please get in touch if you would like to be added to the list. 

Monday class 

Level 2 (for ages 12 -17)

Thursday classes 

Level 1 (for ages 8 - 14)
at 5 – 6 PM 

Classes are bookable in block sessions at a cost of £45 per block. All basic materials are provided.

Little Artists Studio After School workshops for P3's to P7's

6 weekly sessions for your little artist to paint, draw, sculpt and be inspired whilst having fun and building confidence in a relaxing art studio environment.

Teen Art Studio for S1’s to S6’s

6 weekly sessions of inspiring fine art workshops to create an oil painting on canvas paper and work from a draped life model using charcoal and inks. A brilliant opportunity for creative teens to add to their skills and build confidence in a supportive art studio environment.

This workshop is also open to adults looking to learn oil painting skills and try out figure drawing.

Learn to draw from life in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Each session will incorporate short gestural poses. Giving you valuable opportunity to improve your observational skills while creating expressive drawings. You will also be given time for longer sustained drawing.
The class is suitable for beginners and the more experienced artist. Ideal for portfolio preparation.

Art and craft for kids

Doodle & Splat are now going to be running pop up Arty Doodler sessions for 1-5yrs which run for 1 hour and include two planned art/craft activities plus a painting wall and a wide selection of messy play activities. No block booking of sessions required, allowing people to pick and choose the sessions they would like to attend.

Life Drawing Workshops


Suitable for all levels - whether you are new to life drawing or want to brush up on your skills this workshop is for you.

Working from a posed nude model each week you will be given a selection of materials to use with demonstrations and guidance if required.


A selection of materials supplied weekly and you can bring your own too.


The number of participants is kept low to ensure you get the best quality experience for everyone.

Oil Painting for Beginners / Improvers

An inspiring workshop using the fabulous versatile medium of Oil Paint.

With step by step instructions and demonstrations, you will work on a traditional canvas to compose and create a beautiful still life oil painting you will be proud of.

All materials are included to enable you to experiment and try out a variety of methods.

This is a 6 week block of 2 hour long workshops
